I’m glad when the children of “vegans” end up starving to death:
Indigenous cuisines offer clues about what humans, naturally omnivorous, need to survive, reproduce and grow: traditional vegetarian diets, as in India, invariably include dairy and eggs for complete protein, essential fats and vitamins. There are no vegan societies for a simple reason: a vegan diet is not adequate in the long run.
Protein deficiency is one danger of a vegan diet for babies. Nutritionists used to speak of proteins as “first class” (from meat, fish, eggs and milk) and “second class” (from plants), but today this is considered denigrating to vegetarians.
In the same vein (pun very much intended): I can’t help but get at least a few chuckles when I read about Infants unlucky enough to have been born into Hasidic Jewish communities contracting herpes, from the mohel sucking the blood from their penis-wounds:
Quite honestly, I’m glad when vegan children die of malnutrition/future Hasidim die from botched circumcisions, for the same reason: it is infinitely preferable that the offspring of delusional shit-filth NOT survive, because they will most likely be “raised” to become the next generation of delusional shit-filth.
Bad “parenting” has consequences — or at least, should. Until — and unless — “we, as a society” actually get around to questioning the notion that children are essentially “owned” by their parents, children will continue to be injured/killed as a direct result of the “principled” stupidity of their own parents.
I can’t bring myself to feel bad about this, anymore than I can bring myself to feel bad about aborted infants. (the central paradox/hypocrisy of the Abrahamic religions is: the “Doublethink” involved in belief in “original sin”, coupled with the claim that infants/children below an arbitrary age (the “age of accountability”, or whatever any specific denomination calls it), automatically go to “Heaven” after death, merely because they are “innocent” children.
IF you believe in “Original Sin”, then there cannot be any such thing as “innocent” children — especially given Bible verses like this:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; – Exodus 20:5
Again, I ended up going “off-topic”,. or maybe not. I dunno. 🙂
Undoubtedly the views expressed in this post will “offend” someone-or-other.
