Trypophobia is a proposed phobia (intense, irrational fear or anxiety) of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps. The term is believed to have been coined by a participant in an online forum in 2005. The word is from the Greek: τρύπα, trýpa, meaning “hole” and φόβος, phóbos, meaning “fear”.
The site which I (correctly – and quite humorously) – mocked in the last post actually included the above “phobia” as something meriting a “trigger warning”.
The only thing the notion of “tryptophobia” has “triggered” from me was: a burst of nearly-uncontrollable laughter (because it is so abysmally, mind-destroyingly stupid) – followed by an equally-uncontrollable rage that bullshit like this has managed to float to the top of the massive shit-slurry that is 21st-century “culture”.
I genuinely hope North Korea succeeds with their nuclear program, and decides to nuke the shit out of everywhere else. At this point, all I really want is for them to begin by targeting colleges.
